Bedford Museum and Cecil Higgins Art Gallery, the Pilgrim Partnership SCITT and Castle Lower School
Bedford Museum and the Cecil Higgins Art Gallery comprises of two discrete collections. Bedford Museum is housed in the former Higgins and Sons Brewery within the gardens of Bedford Castle. Its collections reflect the human and natural history of Bedford and the surrounding area, from prehistory to the present day.
The Cecil Higgins Art Gallery houses internationally recognised collections of watercolours and drawings, prints, ceramics, glass, metalwork and furniture. It is currently closed for refurbishment but some of the collections can be viewed in a changing programme of temporary exhibitions at Bedford Gallery, a new state-of-the art exhibition venue.
The Pilgrim Partnership SCITT is a Bedford based ITE provider with a focus on training teachers for Early Years and Key Stage 1
Castle Lower School is a vibrant Bedford City centre school with a dynamic and creative approach to the curriculum and broader aspects of children's learning and welfare needs
